Click tracking

Last Updated: Oct 09, 2019 04:13PM CEST
The click tracking feature allows you to know when the links in your emails have been clicked on.

To use this feature just add links to the emails you would like to track using Mailtrack.

Please note that you would need to add http:// or https:// to the beginning of the link URL (depending on the website being linked) in order for the click tracking to work. It is also recommendable to use Gmail/Inbox´s link formatting tool to add links to your emails.

You can check whether the recipient has clicked the link's in your message in the following ways:

1) By placing your mouse over the green double checkmarks that appear in Gmail.

Click in tooltip

2) Going to the Click Report in your Mailtrack dashboard.

Click report<

3) Via Real-time link Tracking Notifications (to receive these types of notifications, enable the Real-time link Tracking Notifications option in your  Mailtrack settings ).

Click in real-time notification

If you've chosen to receive a Daily Report email (see here for more details), you can also see the percentage of clicks on the links of the messages sent the day before.

You can enable/disable click tracking in your Mailtrack settings.
